Many people balk at the idea (i.e., a friend of mine became a fan of a Facebook page, &quot;I&#039;m in America, I shouldn&#039;t have &#039;Press 1 for English&#039;&quot;), but I think we as a people can only be bettered by learning other languages. Not only for our future careers, but just culturally. It reminds us that everything isn&#039;t centered around the English speakers of the world. I admire the Swiss people for speaking Swiss German, French, German, English and Italian (I think those are the ones they speak). I think America could greatly benefit from a practice like that.</description>
